Having always loved the Valais, I was keen to offer an authentic chalet rental in Evolène that reflects the raw beauty and traditions of our region.

Chalet chez le Petit Jean: your traditional mountain chalet
Tucked away in the unspoilt hamlet of La Gietty, at an altitude of around 1,700 metres above Evolène, our traditional mountain chalet invites you to enjoy a timeless experience.
If you’re looking for an authentic chalet rental in Evolène, this is the place for you. Here, silence descends gently, punctuated by the sounds of nature and the light of the mountains. Carefully renovated with respect for the local heritage, the chalet has retained all its character, whilst offering every comfort for a peaceful stay.
A return to basics, entirely on your own terms
Completely self-sufficient, powered by the sun and a natural water source that supplies the entire hamlet, it offers a return to basics — simple, authentic and deeply rejuvenating — whilst providing all the essential amenities for modern comfort (Wi-Fi, gas hob, shower, etc.).
Evenings spent in the great outdoors
Outside, a magnificent terrace made of Evolène stone extends the experience, complemented by a small lawn area featuring a table, a charming French fireplace and a small water feature, inviting guests to relax amidst the surrounding natural beauty.
Open from May to the end of October, this place invites you to slow down, take a breath… and simply enjoy yourself.

A typical Évolène attic flat, situated in the heart of the village of Évolène, just a 2-minute walk from the centre. This cosy retreat, measuring around 20 m², is ideal for a couple with a child (up to 3 years old). It will be available from spring 2028.
