“Chez le Petit Jean” chalet”
A timeless escape in Évolène

Perched in the heart of the hamlet of La Gietty, the chalet «Chez le Petit Jean» is the perfect place to slow down and savour the moment.

This traditional mountain chalet in Evolène, in the Val d’Hérens, has been carefully renovated to preserve its character whilst offering all the comforts needed for a pleasant stay. With its old timber, authentic materials and warm, welcoming atmosphere, it immerses you in a unique ambience.

Here, there is nothing superfluous — just the essentials, enhanced by the surrounding natural beauty.

The chalet is available to book from early May to late October.

🏡 The chalet in detail

Designed to accommodate up to 5 people, The chalet is spread over several floors and offers cosy, practical and charming spaces.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for enjoying time with friends and family. There’s also a bathroom with a shower and washbasin, as well as a naturally cool cellar.

Upstairs, a pleasant living area welcomes you with a cosy little lounge. The master bedroom, which opens onto the living room, features a double bed and has a gentle, relaxing atmosphere.

A traditional wooden staircase, fitted with two handrails, leads up to the mezzanine. This area, which is particularly popular with children, has three sleeping areas on the floor (two large mattresses and one smaller one). Opening onto the living room, the mezzanine is fully secured with nets and barriers, allowing younger children to enjoy the space in complete safety.
